Bans of champions and a new summoner spell is the future of ARAM in the LoL

Riot has experimented quite a bit with extra game modes for League of Legends over the years. Bombing the Nexus or URF are some of them, but the truth is that there is already one that works like a shot since his departure and maybe he does not have the affection from Riot Games that he needs; until now. ARAM has given us many hours of fun, Elo Boost has very important changes on the horizon. 

With the 9.7 patch, the team in charge of the LoL will launch a mini-event of ARAM with deep adjustments and a series of missions to motivate the players to try it out. In addition, to make it clear that this is a turning point, the Butcher's Bridge will return and the Abyss of Lamentation will rest during this content update.

The first thing that must be highlighted is that since Riot claim that a lot of changes that could end up being permanent will be tested, they assure that this map does not enter into the equation. What it does is the first great novelty, the blocks of champions. It will be a system identical to that of the Summoner's Crack, so that each player can eliminate the possibility that someone will use a certain champion before randomizing them.

In addition to this feature so demanded by many fans of ARAM, there is a goal for Riot Games: that the games are not too long. They reveal that the average duration of this game mode is 19 minutes, but there are times when encounters dilate in time too much. To avoid this, the waves progressively increase their rate of appearance from one every 25 seconds to quarter of an hour to a maximum of one every 15 from 25 minutes.

The adjustment does not stop there, since the subjects will start from the usual 325 speed of movement up to 425 in a linear progression from minute 15 to 25. The champions will also lean their shoulders to finish the games. From the start of the game until the 15th minute, the champions inflict an additional 10% damage to the structures. As of that minute, this percentage increases linearly until the 25th minute, when it becomes 30%.

So far we have talked about changes in search of greater health of the game; Now it's time to discuss the balance adjustments. The first one that is presented is a wear damage reduction system. Champions like Nidalee or Varus can take too much advantage of their rank, so all the damage inflicted by champions more than 900 units away is reduced by 15%. Perhaps the biggest change in the history of ARAM was an invoker spell. The Snowball gave the possibility of shortening distances to the melee champions in a hallway like the ARAM map. LoL Boosting has things ready for the objects. First come the Revenge of the seas, a kind of Guardian Angel that instead of making us relive four seconds after dying with a portion of our life, makes us invulnerable, frees us from adversary control and restarts the cooling of the basic skills. Of course, we will die four seconds later. In addition to this, the Ghostwalker (active = E of Kayn) returns and the Warmog will cure 5% of the health that is missing and not the maximum, preventing us from healing ourselves to the full.
